Olrick Johnson is a former NFL linebacker of the New England Patriots. A multi-talented actor, singer, songwriter, producer and radio/TV personality originally from Miami, FL, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, from Florida A&M University.  He has worked, written and/or produced for Usher, Fantasia, Tweet, Tony Terry, Jazmine Sullivan, Missy Elliott, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, and many more. As a songwriter & producer, he has worked with multi-Grammy Award winning producers Teddy Riley, Mario Winans and multi-Grammy Award nominee Cainon Lamb! His first album “Bless My Soul,” has sold in stores throughout the country. Additionally, his newest controversial single, “Locker Room” has sold over 100k units!


Olrick's passion for the stage began very early appearing in plays such as The Colored Museum, Godspell and Macbeth to name a few. His commanding tenor voice has caught the attention of some of the industry's most prominent stars such as Bebe Winans, Fred Hammond and Johnny Gill.  He has been a background singer for artists such as Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Kim Burrell, Israel Houghton, Keith Sweat and Soul Singer Betty Wright and has opened for Cece Winans, Gladys Knight, Fabulous, Anthony Hamilton and Nelly.  His video performances include cameos in Kirk Franklin’s "Brighter Day" and Vickie Winans "Shook" & "Happy and You Know It.” As an actor & singer, Olrick starred in Tyler Perry’s Musical/DVD projects including “Hell Hath No Fury Like a Woman Scorned” alongside Patrice Lovely of Tyler Perry's hit TV sitcom "Love Thy Neighbor” and hit movie “Boo.” The hit musical toured the country for years. Soon after, OJ was featured in episodes of the hit BET TV series, “The Game.” He also starred in Grammy Award winning Singer/Songwriter and TV mogul Kandi Burruss’ Musical, “A Mothers Love” alongside music mogul Eddie Levert.


Olrick served as a board member of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and is currently serving as Co-Music Director for the NFL Players Choir alongside Grammy Award Winning Gospel Artist Myron Butler. Formally an on-air host for Champs Sports TV, he is currently an on-air Sports Radio Personality of the radio show “Chicks into Sports.” He’s had airtime on CNN, BET, TV ONE, ESPN, WORD Network along with various other networks. He also starred as the lead in the New York Best Selling hit musical/DVD, “Single Husbands.” Last Fall, he starred in the worldwide popular musical, “Black Nativity.” He recently toured in Tyler Perry Studios Producer Mark Swinton’s latest project “Guess who showed up at Dinner” and was cast in Director/Actor Palmer Williams, Jr.’s latest musical.


With a Heart to share and give back OJ has launched the Olrick Johnson Experience Workshops entitled “Cleats to Curtain.” These workshops are geared toward using his testimony and influence in professional sports and the entertainment Industry along with other current and former Pro Athletes to encourage youth to use their faith to chase their dreams.


Needless to say, OJ is a perfect fit to head our music label, IC Sound and our ICTV sports division. The years of experience and myriad of opportunities he’s been afforded are sure to help elevate ICTV & IC Sound to a new level!
